holistic death companioning
You don’t have to do this alone. Every family and every situation are unique, so exactly what our work together looks like will also be unique.
Generally, I serve as an additional non-medical member of your current care team to support you and your close loved ones. Most often, I am called upon by overstretched caregivers or friends of caregivers, though anyone is welcomed to reach out.
I am here to hold a nurturing space, be an advocate, and offer emotional, spiritual, and practical support through the end-of-life journey or the planning process (which can be done by anyone, anytime). Services are both practical and rooted in intuition and include:
sitting vigil and comfort care for the dying person and their loved ones
facilitating conversation with family members and loved ones (with consent)
end of life planning and referrals
ritual planning
grief support
You have a right to choose who is on your care-team. My services complement other professionals and loved ones that are already supporting you.
Services are offered both at hourly rates and packaged services, starting around $100/hr. I believe that deathcare should be for everyone and I offer sliding scale rates. If cost is a barrier please feel welcomed to name that at our initial consult.

integrative grief care sessions
These sessions are designed to hold space for whatever you are navigating right now. Grief and big feelings can show up in so many ways and so many spaces. Sometimes we know what where our feelings are coming from and other times grief is just here with us.
In these sessions, we work together through a combination of deep listening, supported stillness, movement and breath practices, and coaching. Sometimes this also looks like sharing journaling prompts, takeaways for in between sessions, herbal resources, or other referrals that may be able to support you in your journey.
Each session is intuitively guided and a little different, as every time we show up we are a little different. Generally, the flow of the session is as follows:
Check in, conversation, space for deep listening
Yoga asana/movement
Silence, rest, and/or guided meditation
Check out, listening, and follow up activities/referrals/education
Yoga is an ancient practice from India with many different paths and styles. What we know in the west is primarily asana (or postures), and that is just one small part of yoga. The path that I am trained in, called Raja Yoga, also includes practices on how to be with ourselves and our emotions, and how to be in community and the world.
These sessions are not therapy or medical in nature, and not intended to take the place of those. They are intended as an additional approach and tool in your toolkit.
Integrative Grief Care Sessions are offered 1-1, seasonally as Moonset community workshops, or tailored to meet the needs of your organization.
1-1 sessions are 75-minutes & sliding scale $75-200. If cost is a barrier, please reach out. Click the button below to schedule to schedule a private virtual session.
grave joy plantings
Planting plants on our loved ones' graves can be an act of honoring and remembering. But life doesn’t always allow us to do it ourselves.
This offering is inspired by my own family’s tradition. Every year myself, my mother, and my cousins plant flowers together on our ancestors' graves. Realizing not everyone wants to/has the capacity to/can physically plant flowers/herbs on their loved ones graves, but may want to make sure their graves are being tidied, kept up, and cared for, Grave Joy Plantings was born.
The process:
You’ll book a 60 minute time slot for you and I to talk. During this time:
You can tell me about your loved one(s), any plants they liked or that you like, their favorite songs, anything special about them.
We’ll also talk about the logistics like, where they are buried and anything else that feels important to share.
After our call, I’ll do a little research about the cemetery to see what types of plants are allowed and think about what would/wouldn’t make sense to plant there. I’ll email you with what I’ve come up with and a date range that I’ll be heading to the cemetery.
Next up, I’ll gather the plants and bring them to the cemetery to plant. While planting I’ll talk to your loved one or play them some favorite songs. I can leave written notes or burn some incense (or an electric candle), or leave any specially requested items (as long as it’s allowed by the cemetery). I’ll take care and spend time there in ritual tidying and tending to your loved one’s grave.
Finally, I’ll send you photos and share any messages that may have come through while I was visiting your loved one.
The exchange for these sessions is $250 which includes:
Initial 60 minute phone call
Cost of plants and travel/time at local nurseries to obtain plants
Travel to and from the grave site (additional fees may be included for cemeteries beyond 30 minutes outside of Pittsburgh)
Spending time with your loved one and tending to their grave
Follow up with pictures and any intuitive messages from my time there
